I am sure you have now seen links on Youtube where you are given the option to directly go to the buy link for the services or products. This option is only available to big companies but there is an alternative for rest of the folks.

The trick involves formatting your video description in such a way that it gets the attention of the viewer and gets them to click on your link to the product.

For example,

Line 1 - Buy or Learn “about our product”
Line 2 - http://www.siteurl.com
Line 3 - More keyword related to your product or service

So, if you have site that deals with handbags or electronic products, you can publish demo videos on youtube and give viewers the option to buy the product by going to the url in description.

Line 1 - Buy Apple Ipod
Line 2 - http://www.electronicstore.com/apple-ipod
Line 3 - Save $20 by using “ipod” as coupon
